Welcome to 'The Busy vegetarian' ebook
Everybody is busy these days. There is so much to do and so little time to do it in. Whilst cooking can be fun and sociable when you have the time we still need food we can put together quickly and easily.

I have created this collection of over 60 dishes to hopefully provide families and those with busy working lifestyles with vegetarian recipes that are simple, with few ingredients, and that are quick and easy to prepare.

As usual I have created some vegan and gluten free recipes with suggestions where some other dishes can be converted.

What is in your ebook?
The ebook is separated into 5 chapters:

Snacks and accompaniements
These are the quickest recipes and cover things like dips, hot tortilla wraps for quick, healthy(ish) snacks and quick meals.

Savoury meals
These recipes are a little more substantial for main meals or for entertaining friends but without the hard labour!

Spicy dishes
These include recipes for Indian and Thai style curries, chilli non carne and some japanese style recipes

Desserts
Again these are just quick and simple but very tasty. They were all tested on my son Madoc and he loved them all.

Glossary
This chapter is basically a list explaining the ingredients I am using and a bit of historical background on some of the names and ingredients in common use nowadays.

Each recipe has tips on how to create more dishes or extra information that will help you in learning how to cook great vegetarian food. On some of the recipes there are ultra quick methods to speed up food prep time even more.

Here are a selection of recipes from the ebook.

Why an ebook?
I must admit holding a book in your hand and thumbing slowly through the pages is one of the great pleasures in life but when it comes to a cookbook, which requires so many colour pictures to bring it to life, the book becomes expensive to produce. As a result many photos aren't included in published cookbooks.

This makes a cookbook disappointing because you may have no idea what the dish you are cooking looks like.

With this in mind every dish has a full colour image with extra photos of the various stages of preparation. This gives you the confidence throughout the preparation that you are doing the right thing.

Creating an ebook also means that it is much cheaper to buy. Once you have downloaded 'the busy vegetarian' and you need to print something to take in to the kitchen the ebook provides printer friendly pages that will use the minimum amount of ink possible.
How does it work?
Once you have paid and reached the dowload page you simply click on the download link, save the book to a folder where you know where you can find it again, double click on the file and the ebook will open up.

The book will look much like a browser environment but it is self contained so you won't need a browser or need to download any special programs to read it.

The ebook is for windows users only. Some macs can use windows so check first.
How much and how do I pay?
The cost is £3.49 for the download.

There are several ways to pay but remember if you become a member of 'in the kitchen' the download is free and so are all future downloads as long as you are a member. The downloads can be found in your virtual kitchen along with 100's of other recipes.

Via paypal
Just click the paypal button next to the book you want to download and pay using your paypal account. Setting up an account if you don't have one already or just paying if you don't want one is quick and easy. All currencies can be accomodated.

Via snail mail
If you don't want to pay online you can pay by cheque by filling in the order form.

I will send the ebook on a CD.
Are there going to be any more books?
Yes.

The book I am working on at the moment is about Japanese style vegetarian cuisine. It will include some classic Japanese dishes such as sushi, tempura, instruction on how to make your own noodles and many dishes that I have devised myself using Japanese ingredients and methods.

Hopefully it will be ready by early 2008.
